I am in the market for a new desk. I love my current Parsons-style desk but it is not quite big enough and a doesn’t really fill my new space. I’m looking for something slightly bigger and little more interesting. A bit more storage would also be nice. There are some great options out there, especially in some of the “teen” stores. Here are some of my favorites.
I love the Shagreen option above. It offers just the right amount of visual interest. And, the 72″ width offers plenty of writing / laptop space. The only downside is that it may be a bit lacking in storage.
The Highland Desk above is also interesting and offers a bit more storage.
The lacquered Regency Desk has a glamorous feeling that I adore. I especially love the brass footed acrylic legs. And, the file drawers would certainly come in handy.
I think the Soren Wide Desk is my favorite of the bunch. Modeled after a Swedish antique, it combines clean lines with just the right amount of detail. Not only that, it offers enough storage to be completely useful.
