Right now, I have snow on my brain. After our storm week, Squaw claims that they got 14 feet of new snow; Northstar claims 10 feet. If these claims are anywhere close to accurate, that is a lot of snow. With a three-day weekend ahead of us, what better way to spend it than on the slopes? (Especially, if you plan to work it in the new gear you picked up after reading this post.) What more inspiration do you need?
In case you aren’t willing to fight traffic to get out of Dodge, check out the fourth annual Fog Design + Art Fair in Fort Mason. The fair features more than 40 different artists and designers and, in the past four years, has become one of the preeminent events for contemporary design on the west coast. Tickets are $20 in advance available here, or $25 at the door. The fair runs all weekend from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. If you stay in town, it should not be missed.
Whether you are sticking around or heading for the hills, we wish you a happy weekend!
