With rain expected throughout the weekend, we’re flashing back to ideas for things to do indoors:
Make something.
A rainy day is a perfect time to settle in with a good old DIY project. Here are some favorites to do with or without the kids: inspiration board, removable pillow cover, terrarium, or marbled dishes.
finally get on board with the kondo approach to tidying.
No chance you haven’t heard about the Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. After you’ve done it, read this to see where to donate your non-magical discards and click here for inspiration on how to relove those keepers.
catch up on all those oscar-nominated (or not) movies you haven’t seen yet or start a new binge-watching session.
We’re still hoping to catch up on some Oscar-nominated (and winning) films, but there are so many good shows out there to watch too. Start with our list and add to it: Master of None, Younger, and the Gilmore Girls. We’ve already re-watched the latter in anticipation of Netflix’s revival, but it’s so good, we may do it again.
skip going out and make a home-cooked meal instead.
We love lazy weekend days with these brunch recipes and comfort food, like pasta.
Snuggle up with a good book.
Need a recommendation? Read about some of our favorites here and here, and click here to see the book that was so good I read it twice (accidentally)!
Have a great weekend!
