Weekend Inspiration

Looking for something fun to do this weekend?  Here are two surefire hits.

Sunset Magazine

Sunset Celebration Weekend

This not-to-be missed lifestyle event is going on this weekend at Sunset Magazine’s Menlo Park Headquarters.  The event includes chef demos (featuring Martin Yan and Chris Cosentino), garden tips, wine seminars, home ideas (featuring designers, architects, and an editor of Sunset as speakers) and travel inspiration.  Families welcome (children under 12 are free).

Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7, 2015, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

RD - Union St

Union Street Festival

2015 marks the 39th year of the annual Union Street Festival.  The Festival runs along Union Street between Gough and Buchanan Streets and features fashion, technology, art, crafts, and food and wine vendors.

This year, the Festival will host Craft Beer and Wine Tasting Pavilions.  It will also host a fashion show featuring clothing and jewelry from Union Street vendors.

This is always a fun event.  Word to the wise, don’t drive (parking is difficult in this neighborhood on a non-event weekend).  If you are inclined to ride your bike, valet bike parking will be provided at Union and Buchanan.
