I love Spring and I especially love celebrating Easter.  While we are not particularly religious, we typically mark the day with baskets from the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt for the little ones, and a family brunch.  One of the things I really enjoy about Easter is the softness and femininity.  Pastel colors, fresh cut flowers, and (somewhat) light cuisine all contribute to creating that feeling.  As with most events, the table top is one of the easiest ways to set the right tone.  The images above and below are providing me with inspiration this year.

So far, we have had quite a few warm days this Spring.  If the weather holds this year, I think an outdoor Easter brunch would be perfect.  I am always a fan of outdoor celebrations (see posts here and here), but I think an outdoor Easter celebration would set the stage for a beautiful beginning of Spring.
