After years of placing a folding table next to our dining table to extend seating for family dinners, we’ve finally decided to get a longer table that can seat 12. I don’t get very excited about dining tables — I want something with classic but clean lines in a dark wood that will last for years. So the fun part comes with selecting the chairs. Aside from being comfortable, I’m looking for seating that is stylish, but not trendy. They need to complement, if not elevate, the existing design scheme. Here are the ones I’ve got my eye on.
