I recently stumbled upon a new-to-me site — The Little Market.  Described as a non-profit founded by women to empower women, the Little Market is an online fair trade shop that showcases beautiful goods that are handmade by artisans around the world.  As described on their site, the artisan partners work through cooperatives and social enterprises to improve their communities through literacy workshops, business training and health programs.  Next time you are looking for something special and unique, feel good about your purchase and browse the handmade goods at the Little Market.  Here is just a sampling of some of our favorites:
