Sometimes you find a store that is perfect for you. I have been searching half-heartedly for something great in Chicago this summer. But, we have had a lot going on.  We have been adjusting to a new city, trying to get settled into our new home, making new friends, etc.  So, my exploration had to be put on hold for a bit.

Now, everyone is back to school and I am getting back to work.  From time to time I have read various Chicago-based blogs and recently a store called P.O.S.H. came up. I wasn’t sure what to make of it so I decided to check it out for myself.

P.O.S.H. is an amazing resource in Chicago.  It has a distinctively French-bent and carries both new and vintage home goods.   For example, there are many beautiful vintage silver pieces, but also new books, candles, tableware and other home accessories.

There is also a terrific kids’ section.

P.O.S.H. is exactly what I was looking for in Chicago.  I walked out with a few pieces for myself and mental notes for upcoming house-warming and holiday events.   If you are coming to Chicago any time soon I highly recommend a trip to P.O.S.H.  And, if you aren’t not coming this way any time soon, check out their website:  www.poshchicago.com.
