Outdoor Inspiration

And suddenly it’s nearly March!  While I continue to work on projects inside our home, the outside has been neglected for many years.  In fact, we hardly did any landscaping work since we moved in over ten years ago.  Every year it’s on the list, but we miss the window — after the rainy season — to get the job done, or even started.  We’d like for the outside of our home to be as inviting as (we think) the interiors, so it’s time to get moving on.  I’ve been paying attention to the types of plants that seem to do well in our neighborhood on my daily walks with the dog.  We want to keep the look traditional to go with our nearly 100-year old home.  I’d also like to have some color in the form of low-maintenance perennials.
