Every once in a while I come across a really great piece of furniture or an accessory for which I have absolutely no use. That happened to me this weekend when I was thumbing through the West Elm catalog. (Yes, the paper catalog.)
The Thea Chair, above, immediately caught my eye. The front, I’ll admit, is rather unassuming. It seems like a pretty average chair. But, if you look at it from another angle, it is an entirely different experience.
I absolutely love the line of the Thea Chair from the side. The sweeping curve and layering of the fabrics elevate the chair from average to amazing.
The view from the back is not too shabby either. This is definitely not a chair to shove in the corner, or up against the wall.
Best of all, the Thea Chair comes in a rose-colored hue. In addition to working well in any living room, I’d love to see this chair as an accent piece in a bedroom. What is even better about this chair is that it won’t break the bank. At $559, it is practically a steal. I wish I had somewhere to put it. Since I don’t, I’ll file it away on my “things to use someday” Pinterest board and hope that “someday” comes before they are sold out.
