If you have been following our posts, you know we were recently at Pippa & Co. in Alameda. We made the journey over the bridge to visit Pippa, but we were pleasantly surprised by the other discoveries we made on Park Street in Alameda. From kid’s shops, to ice cream parlors, to antique shops, to home decor, there are a variety of stores to peruse along Park Street. Therapy Home and Daisy’s Mercantile were two of our favorites.
Our first discovery was a Therapy Home shop. We’ve seen Therapy’s San Francisco stores, but did not expect to find one in Alameda. If you haven’t been in a Therapy store before, think one part Jonathan Adler, one part West Elm, and one part quirky curiosity shop. The Alameda outpost had a great selection of pillows, trays, signs and other decor items at great prices. Here are a few of our favorite vignettes.

Our second discovery was Daisy’s Mercantile. Daisy’s is a feminine mercantile with everything from cookbooks and cooking supplies, to bedding, towels and even cute stationary. It is the perfect stop if you are looking for a hostess gift, birthday present, or just something to spruce up your own home when the seasons change. We were inspired by all of these choices.
