Every woman has her thing.  For some, it’s jewelry.  For others, it’s shoes.  As for me, I’m a bag lady for sure.  I don’t have to worry about whether a bag is flattering on me or expands my rear view.  And it’s a practical purchase — we need something to carry around all our things — to some extent, at least.  Admittedly, I am beyond the point of practicality in my collection.  Regardless, I am always excited to discover new and interesting brands, like Future Glory.

What first captured my attention was the above image of this beautiful oxblood purse with the delicate gold handles. After a little digging, I discovered that Future Glory is a local company (another big plus) and their products are made right here in San Francisco.  Not only that, they support social change, meaning that a portion of their proceeds is donated to local organizations that are “dedicated to rebuilding the lives of women who have been sexually exploited or domestically abused.”  (Read more here.)  Shop locally handcrafted, beautiful bags and accessories and help support women in need at the same time?  That’s a win, win.
