What’s old is new again. Marbling, an age-old technique, is no longer limited to traditional book covers and stationery, as we often associate it with. It’s busting out of the library and being reinterpreted for everywhere in your home, from walls to floors. In contrast to the striking geometric prints in bold colors that are everywhere these days, marbling gently mixes beautiful hues in a more subtle, but just as impactful way. We love how this look has revolved in fresh, new ways.
This marbled print from Cozamia has us mesmerized. Add a brass frame and you have a beautiful (and well-priced) work of art.
This marbled Surya silk rug perfectly mixes trendy and classic and when done in neutral greys and blues, would go the distance in any home. We’d pair it with a minimalistic glass table.
If you just want to get your toes wet with this look, try a small accessory like this Marbled Silk Pillow. We love a pop of pink.
This Williams Sonoma Marble-Dropped Ceramic Vase would also do the trick.
Dwell Studio’s Mira Duvet was inspired by the art of marbling. The shades of blue and white are perfect for summer.
Featured photo from the latest issue of Elle Decor, which we spotted after this post was written. Marbling is everywhere.
