I recently read that “design is in the details” and, in every renovation there are details upon details. A lot of those details are functional necessities, but that doesn’t mean that you should settle for a “builder basic” choice. With a little bit a thought, you can turn a functional item into a feature. This is definitely true with respect to shower doors. Sure, you can settle for something ho-hum (think sliding door with metal casing or shower curtain) but make the right choice and you elevate your shower into a spa.
Once you start to look around, the possibilities seem endless. From glass walls, to sliding glass barn doors, to framed doors, to half-doors . . . it is hard to decide. I love the sliding glass barn doors but, depending on your style, any of these would do nicely. I can tell you one thing for sure, I’m not settling for a “blah” door when I could have one of these beauties. These are all “looks we love.”
