This lamp is just cool.  I first spotted it at the SFMOMA gift shop, where a multitude were displayed as functional objects of art.  This 2015 Red Dot Award winner designed by architect and designer, Max Gunawan, closes to appear as a book.  Its portable design can be used to provide light and warmth indoors and out, for up to eight hours.  It can be opened halfway, a full 360 degrees, used as a table lamp or hung.  Its practicability and design make this one item we love.
