In The Works: Master Bathroom

If you have been reading along, you know we are in the process of finalizing decisions for our home renovation.  The master bathroom has been particularly challenging.  The space is not huge, but my husband and I both had specific ideas about the features that would comprise the perfect en suite space.  I feel strongly about having a large vanity, vessel bathtub and some elements that make the room sparkle.  My husband’s main focus is on including a steam shower in the design.

The steam shower presents some challenges.  In talking to my tile vendor, he informed me that is a really bad idea to have natural stone in a steam shower.  So, I had to throw out my original plans and start again thinking about porcelain or ceramic options.  Here are some of the photos that inspired me.
