Meg Ryan has long been one of my favorite actresses. America’s Sweetheart for so many years, who doesn’t love her Sally Albright, Katherine Kelly or Annie Reed? In her movie life, her homes often reflected the cozy and cheerful characters she played. And for some reason, she always seems to be in a plush robe in those homes — while listening to the radio in the broom closet in “Sleepless in Seattle”, throwing tissues over her shoulder in “When Harry Met Sally” and accepting daisies from Tom Hanks in “You’ve Got Mail.”
In real life, however, Meg’s style is much more refined. Her latest — and ninth renovation — is featured in this month’s Architectural Digest (another favorite of mine since the 80’s). Unlike the leading ladies she plays in the movies, her real-life style is sophisticated and sleek, yet still inviting. Check out some of the photos below and click here for the full story.
