It’s no secret that we are big “Gilmore Girls” fans. Both Melissa and I watched when the show originally aired in the early 2000’s and we have shared in our enthusiasm re-watching the seven seasons over the past few years. Needless to say, we have been counting down the days until we are stuffed with turkey and sitting in front of our screens ready to stream the Netflix revival, “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” at 12:01am this Thanksgiving night (technically, Friday). In four short days, we will get to take in all four ninety-minute episodes — over and over again! And, as if that wasn’t enough, Lauren Graham — Lorelai Gilmore herself — is releasing her new book, “Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore girls (and Everything in Between)”. Already having a bestselling novel under her belt, this is Graham’s second book and features essays about filming the original series, falling in love during her run on “Parenthood” (another RD fave), and of course, filming the revival. We cannot wait to read it, once we finish our first (and second…) viewings of “A Year in the Life”.
