While I love dining out and trying new restaurants, it’s always fun to gather with friends for a more intimate dinner party at home. Not only can you kick off your shoes and take your time, it’s much easier to catch up with each other in a quieter setting. Recently we met up with college friends for dinner and the eight of us sat at a round dining table. The circular seating was a welcome change as it allowed us all to see, hear and talk to each other without yelling across a long table or moving seats. This was especially nice since we hadn’t seen each other in years.
Not all dining rooms can accommodate a round table, but if yours can, consider trying one like this Brownstone dark wood round table, which can expand from 56 to 72 inches and seats eight to ten people comfortably. Who wouldn’t love to host (or attend) a dinner party in this elegant dining room?
