What struck me about this colorful kids bedroom when I first saw it years ago in Domino was how well it integrated designs for both the boy and girl living in it. This room is overwhelmingly happy. How can you not smile with the owl, fish, robot and pink seahorse (as well as countless other animals) peeking out of various spots? We love the mix of retro elements (the girls’ bedding, brass sconces, and turquoise trunk) and bohemian feel (felt peace banner and rattan chair and basket). This one was a bit more challenging, but we managed to break it down for you:
