Weekend Inspiration: SF Fall Antiques Show

October 23, 2015 by Ariana | 0 Comments

If you’re an antique lover, don’t miss the San Francisco Fall Antiques Show at the Festival Pavillion in Fort Mason Center this weekend.  This year’s theme is “Time After Time: Bringing the Past Present.”  The oldest international art and antiques show on the West Coast started yesterday and continues through Sunday.  Sixty dealers from across the country and Europe will offer a wide range of fine and decorative arts.  Show hours for Friday and Saturday are 10:30am to 7pm and from Noon to 5pm on Sunday.

Can’t wait until Halloween?  Start your haunting early at the Scaregrove in Stern Grove today from 3-9pm.  This family-friendly event will feature carnival rides, a haunted house, costume parade, live entertainment, and food for sale.  Or combine antique shopping with Halloween partying at the Treasure Island Flea this weekend.  Click here for more information.

weekly wrap-up:

  • Don’t miss our featured item — this vintage settee.  Sure, it’s beautiful, but it’s practical too.  See how a settee can work in any room, and we mean any!
  • Want to add modern touches to your traditional, older home but don’t know how?  Check out this post for tips on how to mix old and new with ease.
  • See how we style two different looks in our favorite color combination for a young girl’s room.
  • As longtime fans of Kate Spade (who isn’t?), we were thrilled to hear that she launched a furniture line.  These investment pieces bring the perfect twist to more classic lines in her signature colors.
