Every summer I look forward to taking advantage of all the outdoor events the Bay Area offers, from outdoor music concerts (Kelly Clarkson sounded SO good live) to street fairs to live theater. Though drive-in movies are a thing of the past, you can still enjoy the cinema al fresco throughout the Bay Area. Sing-a-long to the classic Grease (which has iconic movie drive-in scenes) or let it go with Frozen. There are movies for everyone, though naturally, many movies do not start until sundown. For those with little ones, the Marin Country Mart offers kid-friendly showtimes at 6pm and adult-pleasing food and drink offerings. Grab your loved ones, a blanket (or two, in the city), some popcorn and enjoy an outdoor movie night this summer.
