On the first day of school last week, I wore white jeans and white sneakers in quiet protest and begrudging acknowledgement of our official end of summer.  Later that morning, I spotted a chic woman styling her white jeans with black flats and a grey crew neck sweater and was immediately inspired.  While nobody really follows the old prohibition against wearing white after Labor Day, I still consider white jeans a pure summer staple.  Styling ivory jeans and other favorites for colder weather will not only extend your summer whites, but bring new life into your fall traditions too.

So don’t put away those summer whites just yet…
