A few doors down from Outerlands in Outer Sunset lies the impeccably styled General Store.  Don’t let it’s name fool you, this is no run of the mill shop.  Every inch is perfectly styled and every item thoughtfully curated.  General Store has an organic, seaside feel, befitting its location just blocks away from Ocean Beach.  In the front of the shop, you will find home accents ranging from hanging planters and pottery to indigo dying kits.  As you walk further in, your eye is drawn to a wooden archway that cleverly houses a selection of cards, fastened by rope.  Towards the back of the shop, vintage jeans are displayed in box frames hung over a row of clogs.  Delicate jewelry and leather goods will also satisfy those looking for unique accessories.  My favorite finds were the bells and striped baskets shown below.  Next time you find yourself heading toward the beach, be sure to drop by General Store — it’s worth a visit.
