Step it Up

Walking is one of the few forms of exercise I actually get out to do.  So when the fit bit bracelets first came out, I thought briefly about getting one … but form didn’t meet function for me.  I just didn’t want to look at the rubber band every day. Instead, I downloaded an app on my phone that counts my steps.  This is only somewhat useful though, since I don’t tend to carry my phone with me when I’m in the office (before) or at home.  As a result, I wasn’t getting a full count — although let’s be honest, there weren’t THAT many missing steps from the office.  But as with almost everything that has a practical purpose, someone has come up with a pretty version!  The counting devices are fabulously hidden in double-banded leather bracelets and cuffs, necklaces and even earrings.  These stylish new wearables by Bezel and Bytes and Tory Burch for Fit Bit have me inspired to go out and walk in style.  (And make a great and unique mother’s day gift.)
