We have finally begun phase one of our home renovation.  (There will only be two phases.) Between now and mid-August, we are renovating the garage level of our house to add a guest room, a garden room, a laundry room, wine storage, a renovated staircase, and another bathroom.

Here’s the plan:

We are living upstairs during phase one.  When phase one is complete, we will move into the rooms downstairs and phase two will begin on the main living space in our house.  We got held up in the planning department for a couple of weeks, but we are finally in the demolition stage.  Here is where we are starting:
