Call us old-fashioned, but we appreciate a handwritten note to show our gratitude to a gracious hostess, congratulate a colleague or just to say hello.  For some occasions, a text, tweet or DM just doesn’t cut it.  It takes time and consideration to hand write your thoughts, and use snail mail.  Sure, it’s not the most expeditious way to communicate, but isn’t it nice to find a card amongst the catalogs and solicitations cluttering your mail box?
