For 2016, Pantone chose two colors of the year: serenity and rose quartz. We have to admit, we were a little skeptical about this selection — the pale periwinkle and pink shades evoke images of bridesmaid dresses in the 80’s and 90’s. Not exactly what we have in mind for today’s home decor. Although we do appreciate pastels, we weren’t quite convinced that these calming shades work outside a nursery or kid’s room. These inspiring images, however, may have changed our minds. What do you think?
While we still haven’t reached the point of wholesale adoption, we certainly wouldn’t mind adding these items into our homes.
