New Work Uniform

After over fifteen years of corporate attire, it’s definitely a nice change of pace to ditch the heels.  One thing I’ve noticed is that it sure is a lot easier to look polished when you’re dressed up a bit.  Now that my daily wardrobe does not include sheath dresses and silk blouses, I’m trying to come up with outfits that look put together but are still comfortable for running around.  That means no yoga pants unless I’m actually exercising!  And no more high heels either (well, rarely).

It’s been only a few weeks but a semi-uniform seems to work well, especially since I’ve never been a morning person and still hit that snooze button at least three times before actually getting up.  Here is the current rotation of new *work* uniforms:

Madewell sweater and jeans; Celine crossbody, Gap flats, Giles & Brother cuff

Vince sweater and T, AG jeans, GrayMarket scarf, C. Vivier tote, and Lanvin flats

Madewell top and jeans, J Crew jacket, Mansur Gavriel tote, Vans slip-ons

Do you have a work uniform?  I’d love to hear some suggestions.
