Mixed Metals

Matchy-matchy is out.  It used to be that you chose one metal tone — typically silver, now increasingly gold or brass — and stuck with it, at least in a single room.  But mixing metals has become this year’s mixing prints.  We’re not talking about only gold and silver-themed rooms.  When done well, small hits of metallics in varying hues give a room more dimension and interest.
