Mirror Mirror On The Wall

December 1, 2015 by Melissa | 0 Comments

I went through a phase of sort of hating mirrors as decor.  I blame it on the 70’s style, wall-to-wall mirroring in the dining room of my childhood home.  After that experience, I only wanted to think of them as functional items; utilitarian pieces meant for the bathroom and maybe an entryway.  Other than that, I didn’t want to see them anywhere in the house.

Over the last year or so, I have slowly changed my mind.  Not only do they reflect light (and who doesn’t want more light in their home?) but with so many styles out there, mirrors are an easy way to set the tone of any room.  I love them in living rooms, dining rooms, foyers, and of course bathrooms.  Between the interesting materials, colors, shapes, and sizes, there is something for every style. Here are some of the mirrors I am coveting right now.
