Looks We Love: Lacquered Walls

May 19, 2015 by Ariana | 1 Comment

We are loving the look of lacquered walls these days.  We first spotted this trend at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, and inevitably, once you take note of something, it begins to pop up over and over again.  These painted walls make an impact, no matter which room you choose.  See how lacquer livens up these spaces…

The sheen on this indigo wall prevents the room from feeling too dark and presents an excellent backdrop for this well-styled white bookcase.

The reflectiveness of this high-gloss ceiling is a stand-out in this all-white kitchen.

The combination of the peacock lacquered walls, the gold-leaf ceiling, and the statement chandelier is breathtaking.  I would love to be greeted by this every day.

We imagine this is what it would look like to eat inside a Tiffany’s box.  Speaking of which, remember this closet?

There’s no reason to leave the closet out, especially when it is decked out with a chandelier and fireplace.
