Now that Thanksgiving is in the past, it is beginning to look a little (or a lot) like Christmas around my neighborhood. Christmas lights are going up, trees are arriving, and wreaths have been hung. This year, I am trying to be thoughtful about my holiday decor. We have accumulated many items over the years; some are good, some are questionable. I am sorting through our boxes and, in the spirit of Marie Kondo, if something doesn’t bring me joy, it is going to be donated.
As I am figuring out what to pitch, I am also trying to put together a cohesive look for our interior decor, front porch, and table top. Not surprisingly, I am most drawn to minimal decor with natural elements. I have pulled together some of my favorite images. Here are the looks that are inspiring me now.

I don’t think I’ll be able to pull off a minimal tree without causing a riot in our house. But the rest is doable. Stay tuned for the finished product.
