Je t’aime Paris

You may have noticed that I’ve been quiet on the blog lately, it’s because I just got back from Paris!  It’s been so long since I was last (and first) there, this trip felt like a new experience, especially with the kids in tow.  After weeks of preparation, each of our eight days was packed and no time was wasted.  We managed to have a good balance of activity, hitting most of the main landmarks, roaming at least half the arrondissements,  eating our way through cheese, baguettes, foie gras, macarons, eclairs, etc., and of course, shopping everything from food markets to flea markets to Rue Saint Honore.  It’s no wonder we averaged eight miles a day on the pedometer!  We also got to experience the daily life of a Parisian, thanks to our good friends who recently relocated there.  The sights, scents and sounds provided stimulation overload, but, the good news is that I’ve returned with loads of inspiration and lots of good tidbits to share.
