We’ve written about our love of encaustic tiles, but considered it primarily for the bathroom. Why should powder rooms get all the fun? Incorporating these patterned tiles in a fireplace creates a striking focal point. And not much else is needed. A simple wood mantle or no mantle at all work equally well. We don’t even mind the televisions hung over these beauties:
