Knock knock.
Who’s there?
Orange.
Orange who?
International Orange. Duh.
I was lucky enough to spend part of my birthday getting a facial at International Orange spa this year. I opted for the International Orange signature facial and was one of my favorites . . . ever.
The spa itself is an urban oasis. The look is clean and streamlined. International Orange offers yoga and spa services. The city location has a lovely lounge and sundeck for relaxing before or after services. (They have a second location at the Marin Country Mart. I haven’t been there . . . yet . . . but the photos look beautiful.)
It had been longer than I care to admit since my last facial. Years, actually. I was way, way overdue. My skin was in rough shape. I felt like it was dry and completely lackluster. Bottom line is that it was starting to show its age and then some. When I arrived I told the aesthetician my concerns and she quickly came up with a strategy. Seventy-five minutes later, my skin was glowing and I felt relaxed.
Like all spas, the International Orange shop offers activewear as well as a number of skincare lines. What I really liked is that nobody pushed products on me. In fact, they actually gave me a sample of one of the recommended products to try at home. I was thrilled. There is nothing worse than buying an expensive beauty product and having it go unused.
If this cold weather is doing a number on your skin, I highly recommend a facial at International Orange; it is the perfect antidote for winter skin.
