Last Christmas was the deadline for getting it done and I happily spent the morning (after opening gifts, of course) unpacking boxes and putting things in place. While the kids played with their new presents, I remember sitting at the island for the first time, just admiring our kitchen finally realized. A year later and we will be hosting our first Christmas Dinner in less than ten days. I can’t wait!
