We swooned when we first saw this vintage settee.  Being design-obsessed, we immediately began to wonder where this beautiful piece could fit within our own homes.  Yes, we have a problem — ahem — that was sort of the impetus for this site, after all.  Still, it got us thinking.  A settee is a rather unique item and its place is not automatic, nor inflexible.
