We arrived back from our spring break trip and got the best surprise ever. Serena & Lily is opening a boutique in our neighborhood. I really love Serena & Lily. When we moved to Chicago I missed being able to pop into the Sacramento Street boutique in San Francisco. It was so easy to pick up wallpaper samples, try out their furniture, and see the art in person.

My absolute favorite thing to buy at Serena & Lily is sheets. I find them to be the softest sheets around and they get better the more you wash them. What is especially great is that they do not fade. I have had them in our master bedroom as well as on my son’s bed for at least five years and they look as good as new.

My second favorite thing to buy at Serena & Lily is towels. I have a set of herringbone guest towels that I plan to never part with (unfortunately they no longer carry them). I recently purchased their “fouta” towel for our powder room and I really love that line as well.
If you read this blog on a regular basis, you will notice that much of the lighting, pillows, and other accessories that we highlight are from Serena & Lily. If you live in Chicago, I highly recommend that you take a trip the to the new Serena & Lily boutique when it opens. I know you will not be sorry.
