Every year, I entertain the idea of going out to a nice brunch on Easter. While certain aspects of that plan are very appealing (i.e. no prep, no work, no clean-up), I really enjoy celebrating at home. For me, Easter signals the start of Spring so I enjoy putting a bit of effort into marking the day. That usually means brunch with friends and family. The kids like to hide Easter eggs and eat the chocolate that the Easter Bunny brings – and I like to linger over coffee in the morning before preparing the meal.
Since we’ll be eating at home, I decided to pull together the menu early this year. So, if you are looking for a little inspiration here is what we’ll be eating at our house. Some of these recipes like the arugula salad and berry tiramisu (the latter of which I have been making for more than a decade) are tried and true. The others are variations of recipes that I have made in the past. Just add mimosas, or your favorite beverage, and you are good to go. Happy Easter!
