Next up in our e-design series — the powder room.
We considered two main issues when designing this small space. Since it is adjacent to the foyer, the look should be consistent and seamless. And because it is small with limited outdoor light, we kept it bright and airy in feel.
The above photos were inspiration for our tiny space and we chose white tile in an interesting shape for the walls. A floating vanity gives the illusion of more space and also brings in some natural elements. We love an encaustic cement tile, which provides enough quiet impact even with limited square footage. Finally, the mirror and pendant lighting were chosen to continue the airy feel and to add varying shapes and interest.
