One of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco is Rich Table. We have been there a dozen times and we have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, the staff is gracious and accommodating, and the space is beautiful. Have I mentioned that the food is delicious? We decided to head back to our favorite haunt over Labor Day weekend and the space was beautiful and the food was delicious yet again. Shocking, I know. In case you haven’t been before, here is the scene.

The restaurant is rustic but refined. It feels special without being precious. One thing that is not conveyed by the pictures is the feeling of warmth that the restaurant exudes in person. It makes you want to settle in, have a drink, and linger. And, since every course is delicious, all the more reason to stick around. Here are a few of my favorite dishes from our most recent visit.
Dried Porcini Doughnuts
Heirloom Tomato, Garlic Bread, Grilled Caesar, Bacon
Scallops, Summer Squash, Pistacho, Cherry Tomatoes
Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie
Don’t take our word for it. Take a trip to Rich Table and check it out for yourself. We’ll be back sooner rather than later.
