In my humble opinion, orange is the most under-appreciated color in the crayon box.  You can call it pumpkin, persimmon, flame, carrot, or tangerine – I love them all.  And, as anyone who has been to my home can attest, this is not a seasonal love affair; it lasts all year long.  Maybe it is the result of my undying affection for blue (they are complementary after all), or maybe it was the rust orange velvet sofa that resided in my mother’s living room during my childhood, but I think every room looks better with a little dash of orange.  Whether it is a statement piece, or a few distinct accessories, here are my current favorites.
